All of my book group enjoyed this book. It was indeed a classic coming of age, timeless novel. If you enjoyed I Capture the Castle, Black Beauty, or A Tree Grows In Brooklyn you will enjoy this book. I immediately went from the first installment to #2, The Edge of the Cloud, to find out what happened next! A fast, breezy read that would appeal to young or old.
